ARB Corporation Ltd is Australia's largest manufacturer and distributor of 4x4 accessories. As part of our ongoing expansion, we are seekingmultiple experienced press brake operators to join our production team.
n
Position Summary:
n
We are seeking skilled and motivated Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining Trumpf, Darley and/or Bystronic brake presses to produce precision-formed mild steel, stainless and aluminium parts. This role requires a robust mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work to tight tolerances in a quick-paced environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
n
n
Operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape components according to technical drawings and specifications.
n
Read and interpret engineering and technical drawings accurately.
n
Work within precise tolerances (±1mm and ±0.3°) to ensure high-quality output.
n
Physically handle, lift, and support long or large parts during the folding process.
n
Select and change dies and tools based on material thickness and type.
n
Learn and understand the grain structure of aluminium and its effects on pressing outcomes.
n
Perform basic maintenance routines and care on press brakes.
n
Collaborate with the team to meet production goals and deadlines while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
n
Learn and support laser cutting operations and associated technology.
n
Problem solves issues when they arise.
n
Maintain 5S standards in your department
n
n
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required:
n
n
2+ years of experience operating press machines, particularly Yawei machines, in a fabrication or automotive setting.
n
Ability to read and interpret technical instructions (SOPs) and engineering drawings.
n
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
n
Forklift license and WHS/OHS training (advantageous).
n
