About the Rolen
nWorking under the guidance of Lead Educators, the successful candidate will support the daily care, learning, development and wellbeing of children.n
nKey responsibilities include:n
nAssisting with the preparation and delivery of engaging indoor and outdoor learning experiences.n
nSupporting children's daily routines, development and positive behaviour.n
nBuilding respectful and supportive relationships with children and families.n
nContributing to observations, learning records and program reflections.n
nMaintaining a safe, clean, organised and welcoming learning environment.n
nWorking collaboratively with Lead Educators and other team members.n
nFollowing centre policies, child-safety requirements and relevant regulations.n
nContributing to team meetings and ongoing quality improvement.n
n
nAbout Youn
nThe successful applicant must have:n
nA Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or a higher ACECQA-approved qualification.n
nAt least 12 months of full-time relevant experience, or equivalent part-time experience, in an early childhood education and care setting.n




nA sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.n
nA current Victorian Working with Children Check.n
nCurrent First Aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis qualifications, or willingness to obtain them before commencing.n
nKnowledge of child-safety and mandatory-reporting
responsibilities.n
nStrong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.n
nPatience, empathy and a genuine passion for supporting children.n
nApplicants who hold, or are currently working towards, a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care are encouraged to apply.n
