Job Description

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Construction Project Coordinator to join the Planning & Infrastructure team at Launceston Airport.
n
This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in delivering and coordinating a diverse portfolio of minor capital works projects within a live operational airport environment. Working across building, civil and infrastructure projects, you'll engage with a broad range of stakeholders including airport tenants, contractors, regulators and operational teams while helping shape the future development of Tasmania's fastest-growing airport.

Key responsibilities:
n
The role's duties and accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
n
n
Manage and deliver Launceston Airport's minor capital works program, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to appropriate industry standards.
n
Coordinate contractors, consultants, tenants and third-party works, ensuring compliance with airport requirements, safety standards and regulatory obligations.
n
Support Project Managers in the delivery of major capital works while managing project reporting, procurement activities, contractor onboarding, permits and stakeholder engagement.

The successful candidate will have:
n
n
Experience delivering building and civil infrastructure projects, with demonstrated project and contractor management capability.
n
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build relationships across contractors, consultants, regulators and operational teams.
n
A positive, proactive approach with strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills, along with experience working in construction,
infrastructure, facilities or project delivery environments.
