nMoor Newcastle East requires a Full time Cook located in Newcastle NSW **** with a minimum qualification of Certificate III /IV in Commercial cookery and three years of work experience in a similar role.n
n
nThe ideal candidates will have a strong understanding and knowledge of food and ingredients. You will report directly to the Manager and/or Director of the business however, you will also display strong teamwork skills in the kitchen operation environment.n

nDuties and
responsibilities:n

n• Prepare ingredients to use in cooking by chopping and peeling vegetables & fruits, cutting meat, grinding spices,n
n
n• Prepare and cook food dishes for all types as per menu itemsn
n
n• Examining food to ensure it meets the quality standardn
n




n• Seasoning food and ingredientsn
n
n• Storing food in temperature-controlled facilitiesn
n
n• Portioning food, placing it on the plates, adding gravies, sauces and garnishesn
n
n• Participating in planning menus and estimating food requirementsn
n
n• Assist head chef and train other kitchen staffn
n
n
n
nThe applicant must have.n
n
n• AQF Certificate III in Commercial Cookeryn
n
n• Minimum There years of recent Experience as a cook in commercial kitchenn
n
n• Ability to work independently and fast processed environmentn
n

nAnnual Salary: 79,534 plus super
