Job Description

We are working with a leading global proprietary trading firm looking to hire an
experienced Trader
into its Sydney team, providing APAC-hours coverage for a global digital assets trading business.
n
The role covers
automated market making and delta-one strategies across CeFi and DeFi
. You will take responsibility for live trading during APAC hours, monitoring strategies and risk, managing configurations and responding to market or operational events.
Responsibilities n
n
Monitor live automated strategies, positions, exposures and PnL
n
Manage trading parameters, limits and operational controls
n
Investigate unusual strategy behaviour, execution issues and PnL movements
n
Use Python and internal tools to analyse trades, execution quality and strategy performance
n
Support the rollout of strategies across new instruments, venues and protocols
n
Work closely with traders, quantitative researchers and developers globally
n
Background n
We are looking for candidates with approximately
3-8 years of relevant experience
, ideally within electronic trading, market making,



systematic trading or a closely related trading environment.
n
You should bring:
n
n
Strong understanding of electronic markets and live trading risk
n
Good judgement and the ability to make decisions in time-sensitive situations
n
Python proficiency for data analysis and trade investigation
n
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
n
A quantitative or technical academic background
n
n
Experience in
eFX, Delta One, futures, ETFs or other
automated/electronic
trading environments
can be highly relevant. Prior digital assets experience is advantageous, but
not essential
.
