Skytrans Australia is an Australian airline providing regional Regular Public Transport (RPT), ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance), and Charter services, connecting communities across the country. What You Will Do n
Reporting to the Senior Base Cabin Crew, this full time position encompasses responsibilities including, but not limited to:

Announce and demonstrate safety and emergency procedures- ensuring every passenger understands what to do in an emergency.
n
Direct and assist passengers in the event of an emergency-you remain calm and capable under pressure.
n
Provide outstanding support to all passengers, including unaccompanied minors, nervous travellers, and those with limited English proficiency- you're a reassuring presence for everyone onboard.
n
Assist in cleaning the cabin between flights- maintaining a spotless, welcoming environment.
n
Administer first aid to passengers or coordinate first aid efforts, as required-you training will prepare you for this.
n
Provide the highest possible service to our passengers by ensuring all needs are met, and exceeded where possible.
n
Liaise with the pilot-in-command to properly coordinate the effects of any operational requirements (e.g., weather, passenger requirements, early descents, diversions, etc.).
n
Ensure that food, beverages, and other supplies are in adequate supply-you're prepared for every flight.
n
Minimum Requirements n
n
Must be at least 18 years of age and able to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
n
Hold a current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011), CPR Certificate (HLTAID009), and Responsible Service of Alcohol Statement (or willing to obtain).
n




Hold a valid passport with at least 6 months' validity.
n
Able to swim fully clothed for 50 meters and tread water for 3 minutes safety is paramount.
n
Have excellent health and fitness, normal function of ear, nose, and throat, and adequate vision (with or without glasses).
n
Available to work a 24/7 rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
n
Have prior customer service experience and a high level of personal presentation.
n
Previous experience on the Dash 8 or similar aircraft is highly regarded.

English Language Requirements n
n
Completed at least 3 years of secondary education in Australia or New Zealand.
n
Worked in Australia, New Zealand, UK, Ireland, or USA for 3 of the last 5 years.
n
Completed IELTS with an overall score of 5.5.
