The Role n
n
Support the delivery, day-to-day operation, monitoring and maintenance of the department's enterprise network and interconnectivity services across metro data centres, cloud environments, and metro and regional offices.
n
Undertake scheduled maintenance activities, including patching, firmware updates and configuration changes, in accordance with established procedures and standards.
n
Install, configure and maintain network hardware, including equipment installation, patching and interconnection of devices within data centre and office environments, in accordance with relevant standards and safety requirements.
n
Assist in monitoring network performance, capacity and availability, and investigate and resolve routine to moderately complex incidents, escalating issues where required to ensure service continuity.
n
Engage with vendor and service provider technical teams to support incident resolution, maintenance activities and service delivery.
