About the company:

Specialty chemical business servicing customers across Australia and New Zealand. Markets include textile, leather, wool, carpets and wood panel additives also offering a range of dyes, pigments and coating applications.

We are looking for a skilled Chemical Blender/Plant Operator to join the team at an industry leading chemical manufacturer based in Dandenong South.Excellent working conditions and immediate start for the right candidate.
n
Please note that this role will start on a 3 month probation period going full time on successful completion.
n
Key responsibilities:




n
n
Weighing in, blending and filling chemicals for batch manufacturing
n
Repack, decant chemicals for use in blending operations
n
Load/unload trucks and shipping containers
n
Ensure written work instructions for batch manufacturing are followed
n
Pick orders, put away stock, assist with stock counts and warehouse activities as directed
n
Requirements n
Key requirements:
n
n
Must have a forklift license
n
Experience in operating liquid blending equipment, powder mixers, pumps and weighing systems in a chemical manufacturing environment
n
Physically fit to lift 25kg bags
n
Experience in hazardous/DG chemicals
n
Reliable and looking for something long term
n
