JoinWesTracas an Operator TrainerbasedfromDubbo,BathurstorTamworthNSW,you'llplay a key role in developing the skills and capabilityofourcustomersandowneroperatorsacross a range of Caterpillar and allied equipment.
Drawing on youroperationalexpertise,you will deliver engaging training programs that focus on equipment performance, safe operating practices,machinetechnologyandtechniques that improve productivity and operational efficiency.
Working closely with customers across mining,quarrying,constructionandother heavy industry sectors, you will build strong relationships while conductingtraining,assessmentsandonsite coaching.
This is a hands-on role that offersvariety,autonomyandregular travel throughout regional NSW, supporting operators to maximise equipment performance and return on investment.
As a Caterpillar dealer you will have access to certification and training materials thatisn'tavailable to anyone else.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging operator training programs across classroom, practical and onsite environments.
Conduct operator assessments and competency evaluations in line with company and industry requirements.
Demonstrate equipment capability,machinetechnologyandbest-practice operating techniques.
Develop,reviewand continuously improve training materials and course content.
Build strong relationships with customers and key site stakeholders to support training outcomes.
Promote safe workpractices,maintaintrainingrecordsandensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
Skills and Experience




Extensive experience operating Caterpillar and/or other heavy mobile equipment.
Previousexperience as a Trainer, Assessor, Operator Trainer or in a site-based training role.
Proven capability in developing and delivering training programs and learning materials.
Strongcommunication,presentationandstakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence operational behaviours.
High levelsof organisation, safetyfocusand willingness to travel throughout NSW.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE***** or equivalent) and a relevant Certificate IIIqualification.

Experience within mining, quarrying,civilconstructionoragricultural equipment environments will be highly regarded.
