Accountabilities and responsibilities:
n
Financial Accounting and Taxation:
n
Perform balance sheet reconciliations, month-end and year-end closing activities and processes for
n
relevant areas (inclusive of prepayments and accruals).
n
Accurate recording and maintenance of Asset and Lease Registers.
n
Monthly Sales reconciliation and billing.
n
Assist payroll team for fortnightly employee payroll reconciliation.
n
Assist in preparing the monthly and quarter tax compliance documents, i.e. BAS and State royalty
n
calculation, working with taxation advisers (big four firm).
n
Review and assist in preparation of audit work papers for half year and year end audits, and liaising
n
with the auditors for detailed queries (big four firm).
n
Other corporate accounting duties orsupervision of duties as assigned.
n
Management Accounting:
n
Weekly and monthly Cash flow analysis and forecast.
n
Analysis of monthly P&L; activity, variances to forecast, and contribute to the monthly management
n
reporting.
n
Participate in the annual budget process for the Company and interim forecasting.
n

n Ability to work cooperatively with others in a team environment, in office or remotely.
n Self-starter with solid organisational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and
n different stakeholders.
n Excellent English communication skills, verbal and written;
n Excellent skills in MS Excel and Word. Advanced knowledge in Excel, incl understanding concepts of
n databases, use of mathematical, logical, statistical and financial functions desirable.
n Knowledge of Pronto ERP or other main ERP systems desirable.
n Tax experience in general corporate tax laws desirable.
n Minimum of 5+ years experience as a Financial Accountant in a commercial finance environment or similar business service environment.
n
Qualification requirement:
n
Bachelor's degree with Accounting, Fiance or Business majors required.
n
CA/CPA certification or equivalent.
n
