Qualifications and Skills
n
n
Degree from an accredited theological school is preferred.
n
Experience counseling people who come from diverse
religious/spiritual
backgrounds.
n
Knowledgeable of the religious community within the hospice service area.
n
Experience relating to a wide variety of patients/families.
n
Must understand and agree with the hospice philosophy.
n
Current Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)



certification.
n
Willingness to serve on-call.
n
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and the minimum state required liability auto insurance.
n
Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function
n
Strong organizational and communication skills; self-directed and able to work independently
n
A professional image and the ability to maintain a positive and respectful attitude are crucial
