Prep (Foundation) Teacher 2027 – 1.0 FTE /n

Wild Cherry School is seeking a warm and caring Prep teacher to join our thriving school community. Established in 2013, Wild Cherry School offers Playgroup to Class 6 and is located in beautiful East Gippsland in Victoria. Our small Steiner school is growing each year and moving to a current purpose-built site in 2028.

There is the possibility for the Prep teacher to continue with the class to Class One.

The successful teacher will have: /n

Qualifications in Steiner education and/or demonstrated knowledge of Australian Steiner Curriculum Framework (preferred)

/n
Demonstrated Steiner teaching experience (preferred)

/n
Early Childhood Education experience (preferred)

/n
Eligibility for full or provisional registration with the Victorian Institute of Teachers (required)

/n
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills

/n
Artistic, musical, and/or handcraft interests

/n
Current First Aid Level 2 qualifications or willingness to undertake and complete within an approved timeframe
