Position: Chef Indian Cuisine -Curry and Tandoor

Curry Twist,Petrieis seeking a talented and experienced Chef specialising in Indian cuisine to join our team. As a full time Chef, you will play a crucial role in creating and delivering delicious and authentic Indian dishes to our customers.

Responsibilities /n

/n
Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori dishes, and biryanis, according to traditional recipes and standards

/n
Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented in a timely and efficient manner

/n
Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed

/n
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen, following all food safety and sanitation guidelines

/n
Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they are following recipes and maintaining quality standards

/n
Collaborate with management to develop recent menu items and specials

/n
Ensure consistency and quality of all dishes by regularly tasting and adjusting seasonings as needed

/n
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including portion control and waste management

/n




Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients into menu items

/n
Assist with catering events and large orders as needed

/n

Skills and Experience /n

/n
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Chef specialising in Indian cuisine

/n
Minimum of Certifcate IV in Commercial Cookery equivalent qualification preferred

/n
Knowledge of Indian regional cuisine and cooking techniques

/n
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

/n
Solid leadership and communication skills

/n
Excellent time management and organizational skills

/n
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

/n
Food safety and sanitation certification preferred

/n

Salary Package: $73,500 -$75,000 Plus Superannuation per annum.
