About the role

We are seeking applications for a Laboratory Technician to join our contemporary, NATA-accredited laboratory. The role involves preparing samples for analysis and requires a versatile individual who can adapt to various tasks and work across multiple teams.

Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory processes.

Responsibilities

Sample Preparation & Analysis: Prepare and analyse samples, ensuring tests are conducted within the required holding time.

/n
Quality Control: Follow all quality control protocols to maintain high standards.

/n
Safety: Comply with laboratory safety procedures and proper PPE usage.





/n
Documentation: Complete all documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

/n
Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organised workspace through regular housekeeping.

Desired Skills and Experience /n

About you

The ideal candidate will possess:

Passionate about environmental issues and sustainability

/n
A degree in Science (Chemistry major is preferred) or Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques

/n
Exceptional attention to detail

/n
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)

/n
Ability to juggle competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

/n
Solid teamwork skills

/n
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
