Job description: The Opportunity: Komatsu Forklifts is after a State Operations Manager on a permanent full-time basis to manage multiple branches across QLD.This role will lead a team of employees, composing of Field Service / Workshop Technicians, Parts, Administrators, Service Coordinators and Sales Reps. The team is full of long-standing employees who have extensive knowledge of our Komatsu products. A key focus of this position is to ensure the delivery customers expect from Komatsu OEM, which includes customer service, parts and service.

Some of the key responsibilities:
n
n
Management and delegation of day-to-day duties for each team member with regular check-ins and performance reviews
n
Monitoring and ensuring that the team is as efficient as possible whilst providing the best possible customer experience
n
Providing quotation to customers in addition to building and presenting business proposals.
n
Conduct regular audits of HSE and ensure compliance and governance is adhered to
n
Ensure all team members are enabled for success in their positions and are able to provide feedback on challenges or issues as they arise
n
Weekly, quarterly and monthly reporting on the PNL, Budgeting and WIP Performance
n
n

What we are looking for:
n
n
Previous experience working as a Service/Workshop Manager, State or Territory Manager or Operations Manager
n
Previous industry experience working in EWP, Hire Industry, Construction or Equipment is advantageous
n
Must have leadership experience and strong team management skills
n
Strong exposure to budgeting, forecasting and reporting building (PNL, WIP Reports)
n
Must have an understanding of Service Centre operations and safety standards, protocols and procedures
n
The ability to communicate effectively with employee's, supervisors and managers
n
A leader who can enable their team and drive growth development plans and strategies
n
A current Forklift and Drivers License
n
