You will carry your own caseload and assist the Principal Solicitor's caseload consisting of parenting and property matters from first appointment through to resolution. Wilde Law Group is a Wollongong firm practising in family law, acting for individuals navigating separation, parenting arrangements, property and financial settlements, parentage and family violence matters.

Key responsibilities/n

/n
Conducting initial appointments and providing explicit, practical advice to clients

/n
Drafting correspondence, engaging in negotiation, mediation and dispute resolution, consent orders and binding financial agreements

/n
Preparing court documents, including applications, affidavits and financial statements

/n
Appearing at Court events and briefing counsel

/n
Managing client relationships, deadlines, costs disclosure and time recording

/n
Working alongside the principal on more complex matters

/n

About you/n

/n
Admitted as a solicitor in NSW with a current NSW practising certificate

/n
Admitted to the High Court of Australia

/n
A minimum of 3 years' post-admission experience in family law

/n




Demonstrated capacity to run your own files

/n
Sound working knowledge of the Family Law Act 1975 (Cth) and current practice and procedure

/n
Strong drafting skills and genuine care in client communication

/n
Reliable time recording and file management discipline

/n
Experience with LEAP is an advantage, but not essential

/n
A predominantly family law caseload, with occasional variety in related areas if that interests you

/n
Real autonomy over your files, with an experienced Principal Solicitor available when you need input

/n
Funding to meet your CPD requirements and develop your practice, including in any area that is current to you

/n
Versatile working arrangements — open to part-time or flexible hours for the right person
