Want to own a portfolio of high-profile Federal Government customers and be the person who turns relationships into growth?
n
Join our Government Sales team as a
Business Development Manager
and take ownership of new business growth across a portfolio of named Federal Government agencies.
n
This is a true
hunter role
. You'll be responsible for identifying opportunities, opening doors, building trusted relationships and ultimately winning new business — backed by a strong team of technical, commercial and product specialists who know how to deliver.
n
You'll have the autonomy to run your territory and own the sales cycle end-to-end, while having the support and capability of a broader technology organisation behind you.
n

About You n
n
n
You're an established technology sales professional who
loves the chase
.
n
You know how to open doors, build credibility quickly and turn relationships into commercial outcomes. You're equally comfortable developing a cold opportunity, navigating a complex government environment or sitting across the table from a senior executive.
n
Most importantly,
you have a proven track record of winning.
n
n
5+ years' experience in successful technology sales, with a consistent record of achieving or exceeding quota.
n
Proven experience building and growing relationships across the
Federal Government
sector.
n
Demonstrated success in new business development and complex solution sales.
n
Comfortable developing business cases and influencing senior executives, including CIOs, CFOs and CEOs.
n
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify where the real opportunity lies.
n
Exceptional communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
n
Highly driven, resilient and persistent, with the confidence to keep pushing when the deal gets difficult.
n
Strong ownership mentality — you manage your pipeline, your relationships and your results.
n
A genuine customer-first mindset and the ability to create value beyond simply selling a product.

Desirable experience and skills n
n
n
n
n
Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business, Technology or a related discipline.
n
Experience with recognised sales methodologies such as
Miller Heiman, SPIN or Challenger
.
n
Strong research skills and an ability to stay ahead of emerging technology, networking and industry trends.
n
Proven experience taking accounts from
low revenue to high growth
.
n
Existing networks and relationships across Federal Government would be highly regarded.
n
