Maintenance Electrician – Permanent Night Shift

Are you an A-Grade Licensed Electrician with experience maintaining production machinery within a manufacturing environment?
n
Our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join their maintenance team on a permanent night shift. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established food manufacturing business offering long-term stability, a supportive team environment and a competitive hourly rate.

Previous food manufacturing experience is not essential. However, applicants must have experience maintaining machinery within a manufacturing or industrial production environment.
n
Please note: We're seeking electricians with hands‐on maintenance experience within manufacturing or industrial production environments.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production machinery and equipment
n
Diagnose and rectify electrical faults to minimise downtime
n
Complete planned maintenance in accordance with maintenance schedules
n
Fault find across electrical control systems and production equipment
n
Assist with machinery installations, upgrades and commissioning
n
Maintain accurate maintenance records
n




Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with Workplace Health & Safety requirements
n
Work collaboratively with Production and Maintenance teams to maximise equipment reliability
n
n
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have
n
n
Current A-Grade Electrical Licence (Essential)
n
Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician within a manufacturing or industrial production environment
n
Strong fault‐finding and diagnostic skills
n
Experience with preventative and breakdown maintenance
n
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
n
PLC fault‐finding experience will be highly regarded
n
Strong understanding of Workplace Health & Safety
n
Excellent problem‐solving skills and attention to detail
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
