A busy, well-established small animal veterinary hospital in
Victoria Point, QLD
is looking for an experienced
Locum Veterinary Nurse
to assist with several upcoming shifts throughout September.
n
This is a varied, hands-on nursing role within a supportive and experienced team, with opportunities to assist across both surgical and consulting nursing.
n
You
do not need to be available for every date
. Individual shifts are absolutely welcome.

Thursday 17 September

Friday 25 September
Shift Hours
n
Approximately:
n
7:30am – 5:30pm OR 8:00am – 6:00pm
n
30-minute lunch break.
The Role
n
This is an all-round veterinary nursing position, with duties potentially including:
n
n
Surgical and anaesthetic nursing
n
Hospital patient care and monitoring
n
Consultation support
n
Admissions and discharges
n




Laboratory and diagnostic procedures
n
Assisting with general small animal GP cases
n
Supporting occasional walk-in emergency presentations
n
General day-to-day nursing duties
n
n
There is
no sole charge
required.

Confident with general small animal nursing

Comfortable with surgical and anaesthetic nursing

Able to confidently step into a new clinic and assist the team

Organised and comfortable in a busy GP environment
n
A strong communicator and team player
