South Coast Baptist College (SCBC) is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Student Services team.
n
In this rewarding role, you will provide professional nursing care, first aid, and health support to students, staff, and visitors while promoting a safe and supportive learning environment. Working closely with families, College staff, and external healthcare providers, you'll help ensure students receive the care they need to thrive.

About the role
n
Working as part of the Student Services team, you will:
n
n
Assess and manage student illness and injury.
n
Provide first aid and emergency medical care.
n
Administer medications and maintain healthcare plans.
n
Maintain accurate and confidential student health records.
n
Work collaboratively with families, staff, and healthcare providers to support student wellbeing.
n
Promote a safe and healthy College environment.
n
n
n
This is a ********* FTE contract position (up to three days per week) for the remainder of the **** academic year, with potential for ongoing work.

About you
n
You are a compassionate and organised Registered Nurse who enjoys working with children and young people in a collaborative school environment.
n
You will bring:
n
n
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
n
Strong clinical assessment and emergency response skills.
n
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
n
The ability to manage competing priorities.
n
A commitment to child safety and student wellbeing.
n
A desire to support the Christian mission and values of the College.
n
n
n
Essential requirements
n
n
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
n
Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management qualifications.
n
Current Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
n
National Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain.
n
Personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ.
n
Active participation in a church or Christian community.
n
Acceptance of the College's Statement of Faith.
n
Commitment to maintaining a child-safe environment.
n
n
Desirable
n
n
Previous nursing experience in a school, paediatric, or community health setting.
n
Experience using school management or electronic health record systems.
n
Knowledge of child and adolescent health within an educational setting.
n
n
