We are seeking a full-time Aged or Disabled Carer to join their dedicated care team.n

nKey Duties and
Responsibilities:n
n• Maintain accurate and up to date documentation including notes, assessments and care plansn
n• Observe, report and document all change in resident need requirementsn
n• Ensure maintenance of clean linen, and making of beds for residentsn
n• Assisting residents with mobility.n




n• Accurately deliver laundered clothing to residents' roomsn
n• Assist with the serving of meals assisting residents as requiredn
n• Assist in the delivery of specialised nursing needs for residentsn
n• Assisting in personal hygiene and dressingn
n• Support independence of residents by providing appropriate assistance with personal care in accordance with care plansn
n• Liaise with staff, residents, visitors, GPs and allied health professionals to provide prompt and friendly servicen
n• Act to protect the rights of residents including confidentiality, privacy, individual choice and decision-makingn
n• Provide emotional support to residentsn
n• Actively participate in the Care team environmentn
n• Build and maintain effective relationshipsn
n• Ensure compliance against the Aged Care Standards is maintained where appropriaten
n• Be responsive to the needs of the company and its changing environmentn
n• Attend meetings and compulsory education as requiredn
n• Identify self-education needsn
n• Participate in safety and improvement activities for the organizationn
n• Identify and report areas of risk (including complaints) within the scope of the positionn
n• Demonstrate adherence to all OH & S policies and proceduresn
n• Display responsibility for self, team and environmentn




n• Ensure compliance with all legislation and other requirements relevant to your positionn

nSkills & Requirementsn
n• Must comply with having annual flu vaccination and be fully immunised against COVID-19.n

n• One year of full-time on-the-job experience.n
n• All appointments are subject to satisfactory police check with no disclosuresn
n• Certificate III in a relevant field or equivalentn
n• Current driver's licensen
n• Own transportationn
