Position Summary:
n
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the Sales Representative will be accountable for a designated territory for both account management and new sales growth.
n
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
n
§ Develop good working relationships with stakeholders (customers and Signode personnel)
n
§ Within customer base, develop relationships at multiple levels within the business, including production, maintenance, purchasing etc.
n
§ Develop an in-depth knowledge of the customers' operations; machine output potential, unplanned down time, production bottlenecks and record this information in order to evaluate potential projects
n
§ Use information gathered to evaluate sales, develop into actual projects and sales of tools, equipment, and consumables
n
§ Report activity and relevant information on a weekly basis in prescribed format
n
§ Gather details and report on competitor activity and pricing strategies
n
§ Ensure that Signode is upholding high customer service levels, work with other departments (purchasing,



logistics, finance, engineering, maintenance & service) to maintain good service.
n
§ Other tasks will be required to be performed to maintain customer service levels and to support other departments within the business as they may arise.
n
§ Account Management - Effective account management to ensure revenues and margins are maintained within current Signode customers in nominated territory.
n
§ Business Development and new business growth - Implementation of appropriate business development strategies (into either current or current customers) to ensure the desired revenue / margin growth is achieved within the nominated territory.
