We're looking for an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator or Contract Administrator, based in Brisbane, who knows their numbers, understands contracts and enjoys being a key commercial partner to the project team.
n
This is more than contract administration. You'll have genuine ownership of the commercial and contractual performance of your projects, working closely with Project Managers, site teams, subcontractors and senior leadership.

The opportunity
n
As Senior Contracts
Administrator/Contract
Administrator, you'll play a key role in ensuring your projects are commercially well managed from procurement through to final account.
n
You'll take responsibility for:
n
n
Project budgets, forecasting, cost control and monthly financial reporting
n
Subcontractor and supplier procurement, tender evaluation and negotiation
n
Preparing trade packages and subcontract agreements
n
Progress claims, variations, EOTs, notices and contractual correspondence
n
Monitoring project costs, commitments, margins, risks and opportunities
n
Protecting RCQ's commercial and contractual position
n
Final accounts and project close-out
n
Building strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and project stakeholders
n
Supporting and mentoring Contracts Administrators, Cadets and Trainees.

About you
n
You're an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator or accomplished Contracts Administrator ready to step up.
n
You'll bring:
n
n
Strong commercial and/or industrial construction experience (5-10 years' experience)
n
Sound knowledge of construction contracts and subcontract administration
n




Proven experience managing budgets, forecasts and cost reporting
n
Strong procurement, tendering and subcontractor negotiation skills
n
Experience managing claims, variations, EOTs, notices and final accounts
n
The ability to identify commercial and contractual risks before they become problems
n
Robust communication and stakeholder management skills
n
A practical, collaborative approach and willingness to take ownership.
n
n
A qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline is preferred; however, we also value substantial relevant industry experience.
n
Experience with JobPac, Procore or similar construction systems will be highly regarded.
n
A current Driver's Licence is required
