The business delivers dine-in services supported by a structured kitchen workflow, where food preparation, cooking, plating, and service coordination occur continuously throughout operating hours.
About The Role n
The Cook position forms part of the kitchen team and is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items in line with the restaurant's service standards. The role directly supports day-to-day food service operations and ensures timely preparation of meals during service periods.

Salary: $76,000 to $82,000 + Superannuation
Key Responsibilities n
n
Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and portion standards
n
Assist in daily mise en place, including ingredient preparation and station setup prior to service
n
Operate across different kitchen sections to support continuous food service during peak periods
n




Monitor cooking processes to ensure quality, consistency, and timely output of dishes
n
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment
n
Store food safely and manage stock rotation in line with food safety requirements
n
Assist with receiving deliveries and basic stock handling within the kitchen
n
Work collaboratively with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
n
Follow workplace health and safety and food hygiene standards at all times
n
Skills & Experience n
n
Relevant qualification such as Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery, or equivalent experience
n
Minimum 1–2 years of full-time experience in a commercial kitchen
n
Ability to work in a fast‐paced service environment
n
Understanding of kitchen operations, food preparation, and cooking techniques
n
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
n
Ability to work effectively within a team and follow instructions from senior kitchen staff
n
