Our client is an established early learning provider opening a current centre in Footscray and is seeking an experienced Assistant Director to join the leadership team.
n
This is a rare opportunity to work alongside the Centre Director, helping to build the team, establish the centre's culture and create a strong foundation for its success.
n
You'll have the opportunity to make a real contribution from the outset, working closely with the Centre Director and supported by an experienced management team across operations, compliance, systems and business development.

The Opportunity

Support the Centre Director with the opening and day-to-day operation of a brand-new centre
n
Work alongside the Director to recruit, lead and develop your team
n
Help establish a strong centre culture and reputation
n
Build relationships with families and the local community
n
Support high-quality programming, compliance and quality standards
n
Assist with staffing, rosters,



resources and centre operations
n
Support enrolment growth and community engagement
n
Provide leadership and support to the team and step into the Director's role when required
n
n
About You
n
You will be an experienced early childhood leader with:
n
n
Previous Assistant Director, Educational Leader, Room Leader or senior leadership experience
n
Qualification in Early Childhood Education
n
Strong knowledge of the NQF and regulatory requirements
n
Strong leadership and communication skills
n
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
n
Current First Aid and CPR
n
A proactive and hands-on approach
n
The confidence and initiative to work closely with the Centre Director and wider leadership team
n
n
