Job Description
Our client is a world leader in the manufacturing of chemicals and scientific products. They are currently seeking a Project Engineer for a long-term casual role (with the view to permanency) in their manufacturing facility based in North West Sydney.

Duties include:

Project planning, ensuring timely completion and to specification.
n
Providing support to Project Managers.
n
Travel to local and international sites to supervise the installation of equipment.
n
Providing support and guidance to the company's distributors, OEM's and strategic partners.
n
Reviewing project drawings and liaising with the design team.
n
Selection of equipment components on suitability, price and availability.
n




Preparation of bills of materials as directed.
n
Preparation and issuing of specifications, analysing quotes and issuing purchase requisitions.
n
Preparation of data for progress / contract reviews.
n
n
Ideally you will have:
n
n
Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering.
n
A current passport and ability to travel locally and internationally at short notice.
n
The ability to work under minimal supervision and be self-driven.
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
n
n
