About the role
n
As a Travelling Registered Nurse - Acute Care, you will deliver safe, effective and patient-centred care within regional Calvary acute hospitals, working alongside experienced multidisciplinary teams.
n
We are looking for nurses across a range of specialty areas, and placements will vary depending on your experience and site needs. This includes:

Emergency
n
Intensive Care
n
Perioperative Services
n
Surgical
n
Haematology/Oncology
n
Midwifery
n
n
Key r
esponsibilities
n
n
Conducting comprehensive nursing assessments and acute care delivery
n
Care planning, implementing and evaluating acute patient care
n




Contributing to discharge planning in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
n
Providing accurate, timely clinical documentation
n
Communicating effectively with patients, families and care teams
n
Practising in accordance with legislation, policies and professional standards
n
Respecting patient values, cultural needs and confidentiality
n
n
About you
n
You are a Registered Nurse who is adaptable, clinically confident, and enjoys variety and regional living.
n
Essential criteria:
n
n
Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
n
Full working rights in Australia
n
Recent acute care hospital experience
n
Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new environments
n
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
n
Willingness to travel and work away from home
n
Commitment to patient safety, professional standards and teamwork
n
COVID-19 immunisation (unless medically exempt)
n

Locations

Placements available across NSW, ACT, VIC, TAS, and SA, including regional, coastal, and metropolitan sites.
