Mechanical Fitter

Great opportunity for a qualified Mechanical Fitter, Boilermaker, or Mechanic based in Wingfield.
n
Earn $***** per hour + $2 site allowance, with daily overtime paid after 8 hours on ***** hour day shifts.
n
Work across a mix of workshop repairs and field site service.
n
Enjoy a 6:00 AM start in a casual role with a genuine pathway to transition into a permanent full time position (pending performance).

Duties
n
n
Perform mechanical fault finding, troubleshooting and maintenance on fixed and mobile plant equipment.
n
Execute structural boilermaking, fabrication, and repair work across plant machinery.
n
Travel to client sites using a company service vehicle from the Wingfield depot.
n
Conduct regular servicing and preventive maintenance tasks in the workshop and on site.
n




Maintain clean, safe work environments in compliance with safety standards.
n

Skills & experience
n
n
Relevant Trade Qualification (Mechanical Fitter, Boilermaker, or Heavy Mechanic).
n
Valid White Card, Working at Heights, and Confined Space Entry certifications.
n
Ability to successfully pass a pre employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.
n
Full Australian work rights (candidates on valid VISAs are welcome to apply).

Demonstrated experience in plant equipment maintenance and fault finding.
