nThe Rolen
n
nMJI Group is seeking a Cabler to join the MJI Group team on a permanent full time basisn
n
nTasks:n
n
n- Install, terminate and maintain
telecommunications,
fibre optic and structured cabling systems in accordance with project specifications and Australian Standards.n
n- Install Radio Base Station (RBS) equipment, including Hybriflex cables, coaxial feeder cables and tails, earthing systems, cable trays, diplexers and combiners.n
n- Install, terminate and commission DC power systems, including rectifiers, batteries and associated equipment.n
n- Install, terminate and commission microwave indoor and outdoor units.n
n- Perform testing and commissioning of telecommunications equipment and sites, including PIM, VSWR, sweep testing and call testing.n
n- Diagnose faults, investigate site issues, replace defective equipment and carry out repairs to restore network performance.n
n- Install, splice,



terminate and test fibre optic cabling and associated infrastructure.n
n- Install and terminate internal structured cabling for computer networks, telecommunications systems, security systems and fire alarm systems.n
n- Install and maintain NBN and other telecommunications network cabling.n
n- Complete site documentation, commissioning records and handover paperwork following installation and testing.n
n- Ensure all work complies with telecommunications cabling rules, workplace health and safety requirements and Australian Standards.n
n- Lead installation teams or work independently to deliver projects within required timeframes and quality standards.n
n
nSkills and Qualifications:n
n
nTo be eligible for the role, you must have the following:n
n
n-AQF Certificate III including at least 2 years on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill level 3) n
n-Relevant qualifications required however; 3 years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above.n
n-3 years of relevant experience in the role. n
n-High level of interpersonal skills and communication skillsn
