Key Responsibilities:

Lead and guide the ward/unit in alignment with the hospital's strategic and operational objectives.
n
Provide operational oversight to ensure efficient unit management and delivery of evidence-based nursing care.
n
Manage resources effectively, including human, financial, and material assets, while upholding high levels of customer service.
n
Provide direct patient care as necessary, offering mentorship to junior staff.
n

AHPRA Registration
n
Working with Children check
n




Prior experience at a Nurse Unit Manager level or equivalent
n
Acute care experience
n
Relevant degree in nursing specialty
n
Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
n
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
n
Commitment to personal and team development
n
Dedication to delivering high-quality clinical and customer-centric care
n
Proficiency in MS Office and database management
n
Ability to work effectively within a team and manage time efficiently
n
Demonstrated knowledge in labor management and HR practices
n
