Baba Shrichand 3 Pty Ltd is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef for Indian Curry Hutt Restaurant, a busy restaurant, located in Logan, Qld. We are dedicated to finding the best talent for our restaurant and providing excellent career opportunities for our candidates.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a solid background in the culinary arts. They will be responsible for creating and preparing high-quality dishes, overseeing the kitchen operations, and managing a team of kitchen staff. The successful candidate will also have a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines, as well as the ability to create and maintain a positive and efficient work setting.

Key Responsibilities:
n
- Create and prepare high-quality dishes according to the restaurant's menu and standards
n
- Oversee and manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
n
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
n
- Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
n
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen area
n
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new menu items and specials
n




- Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented in a timely manner
n
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
n
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times
n
- Continuously strive to improve and innovate in the kitchen
n
Qualifications:
n
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Chef in a high-volume restaurant
n
- Certificate IV in
Culinary/commercial
cookery or above
n
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
n
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
n
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
n
- Creative and creative mindset
n
- Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
n
- Australian working rights
