About the role n
Welsford Smithers Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced
Horticulturist/Gardener
to join our team. This full-time role is based in Pymble, NSW and will involve maintaining beautiful gardens and landscaping at local residential properties.

Developing and executing garden maintenance plans to keep the grounds looking their best
n
Planting, pruning, weeding, and watering to ensure the health and vibrancy of all plants and flowers
n
Operating gardening equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers to maintain gardens
n
Identifying and addressing any pests or diseases affecting the plants
n
Providing recommendations on garden and plant selection to continually improve the property's aesthetic
n
Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety requirements
n
What we're looking for n
n
Formal qualification in horticulture or equivalent relevant experience
n




Demonstrated experience in maintaining high-quality gardens and landscaping
n
Strong knowledge of plant species, their care requirements, and seasonal considerations
n
Proficient in the use of common gardening tools and equipment
n
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional results
n
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
n
A passion for gardening and a desire to contribute to the presentation of our clients' properties
