The Opportunity:
n
We are seeking a motivated Principal Structural Engineer to join our team in Melbourne. You will contribute to a variety of major infrastructure projects, as well as industrial and commercial developments; whilst providing technical guidance in a range of different structural materials for our junior team members. With offices Australia wide there is plenty of chance to collaborate across our multi-disciplinary teams. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Become a technical focal point and provide technical guidance for the structural team in Melbourne
n
Apply engineering fundamentals to solve intermediate to advanced engineering solutions
n
Liaise with clients and design technicians and other team members to deliver practical solutions
n
Manage clients, prepare fee proposals and tender documentations
n
Provide technical guidance to junior members of the team
n
n
What you bring:
n
n
Minimum 15+ years of experience in structural design
n
Indepth experience in structural engineering design and already obtained Engineers Australia Chartered Professional Engineering Status or equivalent
n




Bachelor of Civil/Structural Engineering or higher
n
Strong analytical thinking skills and a problem-solving mentality
n
Willingness to contribute to technical guidance of junior members through mentoring and checking of technical documentation
n
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both with colleagues and clients
n
