The Prospect:
n
You'll be a key member of a diverse and experienced Mining team at Granny Smith Gold Mine.
n Reporting to the Senior Engineer: Mine Production, you will be responsible for all mining aspects including the development and implementation of production plans in line with short to medium term planning targets.

What You'll Do:
n
n
Development and implementation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly production plans in line with operational targets.
n
Ensure that stope designs and subsequent drill and blast plans maximise ore extraction and minimise dilution.
n




Direct and lead all members of the technical and operational mining team and ensure goal unity through concise communication.
n
n
What You'll Bring:
n
n
Have a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent.
n
Proven hard rock engineering experience, preferably gold, with exposure to all production phases including ventilation and experience in Drill and Blast, ideally Longhole Open Stoping and/or Inclined Room and Pillar methods.
n
Exposure to Mining software Deswik CAD and UGDB would be highly regarded.
n
