Hunter Manning are partnering with a
fast-growing ASX-listed mining business
who are looking for an experienced Senior Project Accountant to join their Perth team.
n
This is a senior, hands‐on opportunity for someone who can
hit the ground running
, combining strong accounting capability with a commercial approach.
n
Working closely with senior finance and operational stakeholders, you'll have broad exposure across reporting, analysis and business partnering, while also
mentoring and guiding more junior members of the finance team
.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Take ownership of key accounting and reporting activities
n
Partner with operational leaders to provide commercial insight
n
Analyse performance and identify key business and cost drivers
n
Support budgeting, forecasting and planning
n
Provide analysis to support commercial decision‐making
n




Drive improvements across finance processes and reporting
n
Mentor and support more junior finance team members
n
About You n
n
7+ years' relevant accounting experience
n
Previous mining experience is essential
n
Strong management and financial accounting capability
n
Commercially minded with solid operational understanding
n
Confident partnering with senior and non‐finance stakeholders
n
Comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership from day one
n
