nSalary range: $79,500 - $86,600 - depending on skills level and work experience + superannuation.n

nWe are partnering with a highly respected early learning provider to find a nurturing and dedicated Childcare Worker for their vibrant centre. nKey Duties &
Responsibilities:n
nProgram Delivery & Child Development:n
n
nDesign and implement stimulating educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)n
nFacilitate intentional teaching moments through play-based activities including storytelling, music, art and sensory explorationn
nObserve and document children's progress to support individual learning goals and share insights with familiesn
nGuide social-emotional development by modelling positive behaviour and conflict resolution strategiesn
nDaily Care & Wellbeing:n
n
nMaintain impeccable hygiene standards including nappy changing, toileting assistance and mealtime supervisionn
nCreate predictable routines that provide children with emotional security while allowing flexibility for spontaneous learningn
nConduct thorough safety checks of indoor/outdoor environments and resources before activitiesn
nAdminister first aid when required and follow health management plans for children with additional needsn
nFamily & Community Engagement:n
n
nBuild trusting relationships with families through daily conversations and formal progress updatesn
nCollaborate with room leaders to create displays that make children's learning visible to parentsn
nParticipate in community events and centre initiatives that strengthen family connectionsn
nCompliance & Professionalism:n
n
nMaintain current working with children check - first aid certification and relevant qualificationsn
nContribute to quality improvement processes through reflective practicen
nAttend staff meetings and professional development sessions to enhance practicen
nSkills & Requirements:n
n
nCertificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)n
nProven 1-year minimum experience in long day care or similar setting.n
nDemonstrated knowledge of EYLF and National Quality Standardsn
nGenuine passion for early childhood development with endless patience and creativityn
nCurrent First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates as well as proof of vaccinationn
nWorking with children rightsn
nPolice checkn
nStrong communication skills to engage with children, colleagues and familiesn
nReferences from previous employersn
