About the Role
Northpark & La Trobe Private Hospitals are seeking an experienced Administration Officer to join our Administration team on a casual basis. In this fast paced and varied environment, you will take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive work attitude and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

A recent redevelopment and expansion of clinical services at La Trobe Private Hospital is complete and is helping us meet the growing healthcare needs of the Northern suburb's communities. Northpark Private Hospital is located on the corner of Plenty Road and Greenhill's Road Bundoora, close to public transport and onsite parking is available. La Trobe Private Hospital is located at 920 Plenty Road, Bundoora next to La Trobe University.
Key Responsibilities
Perform a broad range of administration duties including:
Reception Duties
Process Surgical and Medical Admission
Organise pre-admission and admission paperwork
Complete Health Fund Checks
Maintain accurate and effective record management systems including preparation of medical records
Coordinate with staff from other departments
Complete other clerical tasks such as data entry
Experience in an acute patient focused Healthcare facility/Hospital - highly desirable
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Solid attention to detail
Able to work autonomously
Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
Versatile to work a variety of shifts
