Job Description

Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. nQualifications Education: High school diploma or GED equivalentn
n
nLicensure: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing programn
n
nMust hold and maintain a current LPN license in Missouri and meet all State Board of Nursing requirementsn
n
nComparable education experience and successful licensure may be consideredn
n
nExperience: New graduates and experienced LPNs welcomen
n
nCertifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)n
n
nthrough the American Heart Association (or within 30 days of hire)n
n
nLPN-IV Certificationn
n
ncompleted prior to hire or within 3 months (up to 1 year based on unit requirements)n
n
nPhysical Requirements: Frequent standing and walking throughout shiftn
n
nSignificant bending, stooping, and patient lifting/turning with assistancen
n
nAbility to push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbsn
n
