About the role
n
As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Little Mountain – Mark Road West, you'll work alongside our Centre Director to support the day-to-day operations of the centre while helping to build a positive, high-performing team culture.
n
You'll use your leadership experience and passion for early learning to mentor educators, support quality practice, strengthen family relationships, and drive continuous improvement across the centre.
n
In this role, you'll:

Support the Centre Director in leading a team that delivers high-quality early learning and care
n
Mentor and build capability within the centre team
n
Lead centre operations in the Centre Director's absence
n
Champion and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide
n
Build strong relationships with families and the local community
n




Drive continuous improvement across all aspects of centre operations
n

What you'll bring
n

Previous experience as an Assistant Director, Centre Leader, Senior Educator, or in a similar leadership role
n
Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
n
Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills
n
Current QLD Working with Children Check
n
Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training via the Geccko platform
n
Passion for delivering exceptional outcomes for children, families, and teams
n
