Responsibilities
n
n
Medication Management: Administer medications, ensure adherence to prescribed schedules, and monitor for side effects.
n
Wound Care: Clean wounds, perform dressing changes, and monitor for signs of infection or complications.
n
Health Assessments: Conduct regular health checks, monitor vital signs, and update care plans based on assessments. For example:



FRAT assessment BRADEN assessment Diabetes assessment Continence Assessment RUDAS assessment

Chronic Disease Management: Support clients with chronic conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, and respiratory illnesses.
n
Personal Care Assistance: Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
n

Desired Skills
n
n
Proficiency in a second language, including but not limited to Mandarin, Cantonese, Arabic, Italian, Spanish, Greek, Hindi, and Vietnamese.
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
n
Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Professional Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
n
AHPRA Registration
n
First Aid and CPR Certification
n
ABN Independent contractor work rights
n
Professional indemnity and public liability insurance of $10M each
n
National Police Clearance
n
COVID-19 vaccination certificate
