The Opportunity n
This role offers the chance to work on
large-scale, high-impact energy and infrastructure projects
, delivering advanced
power systems analysis, grid connection support, and strategic advice
across the National Electricity Market.

As a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in both
technical delivery and client engagement
, while supporting project leadership and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities Power Systems Analysis & Studies n
n
Deliver advanced
power system studies
, including load flow, dynamic simulations, and system performance analysis
n
Undertake studies such as
fault level, voltage, protection,



and harmonic assessments
n
Translate technical outputs into
clear, actionable insights for clients
n
Contribute to projects across renewable energy, storage, and hybrid systems
n
Grid Connection & Advisory n
n
Support clients in navigating
grid connection processes and regulatory frameworks
n
Provide technical input into connection strategies and challenges
n
Apply knowledge of
electricity networks and market operation within the NEM
n
Project Delivery & Client Engagement n
n
Lead or contribute to project delivery across multiple engagements
n
Build and maintain
trusted client relationships
n
Ensure high-quality outputs are delivered on time and to standard
n
Leadership & Mentorship n
n
Mentor and support the development of
junior engineers
n
Contribute to a culture of
technical excellence and continuous development
n
Provide leadership within project teams where required
n
What We're Looking For Technical Experience n
n
5+ years' experience in
power systems analysis within the energy sector
n
Proficiency with tools such as: n
n
PSSE
n
PSCAD
n
DIgSILENT PowerFactory
n
n
Strong understanding of: n
n
Electricity networks
n
Energy markets and the
National Electricity Market (NEM)




n
n
Experience with
grid connection processes and regulatory requirements
n

Strong analytical and

Ability to deliver
high-quality technical reports and outputs
