Structural Engineer with 4 - 10 years experience to join a growing local structural engineering consultant focusing on mining and heavy industrial projects.

Qualifications & Skills
n
n
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
n
4 to 10 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in the mining or heavy industry sectors.
n
Strong SpaceGass experience
n
Familiarity with Australian Standards (e.g., AS ****, AS ****, AS ****).
n
Solid understanding of steel and concrete design principles.
n
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
n
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
n
Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
n

Duties & Responsibilities
n
n




Conduct structural analysis and design for mining infrastructure using SpaceGass and other engineering software.
n
Develop and review engineering drawings, calculations, and technical reports.
n
Ensure compliance with relevant Australian Standards, codes, and safety regulations.
n
Participate in site visits, inspections, and structural integrity assessments.
n
Provide technical support and troubleshooting during project execution.
n
Assist in the preparation of project proposals, reports, and feasibility studies.
n
