About The Opportunity

Programmed Property Services are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our commercial paint team with flexibility around working locations. This excellent opportunity is responsible for driving growth and development throughout the region. You will play a crucial role in maintaining excellent relationships with our existing customer base while actively seeking new opportunities to expand our business. This position offers a diverse customer base, allowing you to engage with various industries and develop valuable connections.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Manage and grow the business throughout a region of Melbourne
n
Nurture and strengthen relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
n
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and market research
n
Utilize your sound sales history, particularly in trades and services, to effectively communicate the value of our products and services to potential customers
n




Prepare accurate sales estimates and develop professional proposals that showcase our offerings
n
Leverage your previous experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to effectively manage customer interactions, track sales activities, and maintain accurate records
n

About you
n
To be successful in this role, ideally you will have a proven track record in sales for the commercial paint or trades/services industry, a "can do' attitude and be driven to deliver exceptional results. Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following:
n

Previous experience in a sales driven role
n
Comfortable actively seeking out new business opportunities
n
Strong ability to estimate and develop professional-looking proposals
n
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
n
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the designated region
n
Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
