Giggle and Learn Early Childcare & Education is seeking an exceptional Centre Director to lead the opening of our brand-new, purpose-built 80-place Early Learning Centre in Smeaton Grange.

About the Role
n
Working closely with the Approved Provider and Leadership Team, you will lead the successful establishment, operation and ongoing success of our newest service.
n
You will have the unique opportunity to build a centre your way—creating systems,
establishing a positive culture and leading a team committed to delivering exceptional outcomes for children and families.

Your Responsibilities
n
n
Coordinate the successful establishment and opening of our brand-new service.
n
Create welcoming, engaging and inspiring learning environments aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
n
Source educational resources, furniture and equipment that support high-quality learning experiences.
n
Recruit, onboard and mentor a passionate team of educators.
n
Foster a positive, collaborative and respectful workplace culture.
n
Support professional growth through coaching, mentoring and performance development.
n
Lead by example and create an environment where educators feel valued, supported and empowered.
n
Oversee the daily operations of the service.
n
Maintain compliance with the National Quality Framework, National Law, National Regulations and service policies.
n
Champion continuous quality improvement and best practice.
n
Support meaningful programming, planning cycles and educational documentation.
n
Maintain a secure, healthy and welcoming environment for children, families and staff.
n
Develop meaningful relationships with families from enrolment onwards.
n
Foster open communication and genuine collaboration.
n
Build connections within the local community that strengthen the service.
n
Create a welcoming environment where every child and family experiences a true sense of belonging.
n
Monitor occupancy, budgeting and centre performance.
n
Manage resources effectively while maintaining exceptional quality.
n
Identify opportunities for growth, innovation and continuous improvement.

About You
n

Minimum five years' experience in Early Childhood Education and Care.
n
Minimum two years' experience in a Centre Director, Assistant Director or equivalent leadership position.
n
Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or higher.
n
Comprehensive knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Law, National Regulations and NSW Child Safe Standards.
n
Current NSW Working With Children Check.
n
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications.
n
Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
n
