nSouth Australian Painting Service is seeking a skilled and experienced Painting Trades Workers to join their energetic team. This full-time position offers an annual base salary of $75,000 to $85,000, depending on experience. Multiple positions are available.n
nKey
Responsibilities:n
n•Erecting scaffolding and ladders, and placing drop sheets to protect adjacent areas from paint splatteringn
n•Preparing surfaces by removing old paint and wallpaper, fixing woodwork, filling holes and cracks, and smoothing and sealing surfacesn
n•Selecting and preparing paints to required colours by mixing portions of pigment, oil, and thinning and drying additivesn
n•Applying paints, varnishes, and stains to surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spraysn
n•Hanging wallpaper, matching patterns, and trimming edgesn
n•Cleaning equipment and maintaining work areasn
n•Repairing windows and replacing glass in wooden and metal frames (as needed)n
n•Laying and repairing wall and floor tiles (as needed)n
nRequirements:n
n•Minimum of 1 year of work experience in Australia is essentialn




n•Proven experience in painting and surface preparationn
n•Ability to work with different materials such as paints, varnishes, stains, and wallpapersn
n•Knowledge of scaffolding and ladder safetyn
