Centre Director / Nominated Supervisor for a purpose-built long day care service in Cambridge NSW, opening September. Lead the service through opening and its first year.

Key responsibilities

Lead the service through opening and its first year
n
Child safe recruitment, induction and ongoing supervision of the educator team
n
Embed child protected practice in everyday interactions, supervision and decision-making
n
Ensure all staff understand mandatory reporting obligations and how to act on them
n
Compliance with the National Law, National Regulations, the NQS and the NSW child safety reforms
n
Build strong, transparent relationships with families and the community
n
n
About you




n
n
Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (Bachelor/ECT highly regarded)
n
Prior Director or 2IC experience in long day care
n
Cleared paid Working With Children Check
n
Current first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma training
n
Approved NSW child protection training and mandatory national child safety training
n
Demonstrated understanding of the Child Safe Standards and mandatory reporting
n
