nFusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Everett, Washington. Required Qualifications:n
nOne year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapistn
nRegistered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRCn
nValid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulationsn
nCurrent BLS certification (AHA/ARC)n
nPreferred Qualifications:n
nACLS or PALS Certification (AHA/ARC)n
nOther certifications and licenses may be required for this positionn
nSummary:n
nA Registered Respiratory Therapist provides advanced respiratory care to patients with complex pulmonary disorders and critical illnesses. They independently assess, treat, and manage patients with a wide range of respiratory conditions, including those in intensive care units and emergency situations. RRTs work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver life-saving therapies and patient-centered care. Essential Work Functions:n
nCollaborate with physicians to develop patient treatment plansn
nExamine and interview patients with breathing and/or cardiopulmonary disordersn
nPerform diagnostic tests, such as measuring lung capacity or collecting blood/sputum samplesn
nTreat patients through various methods including chest physiotherapy and aerosol medicationsn
nSet up and monitor equipment to ensure the patient is receiving the correct amount of oxygen at the correct raten
nObserve and record patient status and progressn




nWork collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure appropriate patient caren
nEducate patients and/or family members on how to properly take medication and use equipmentn
nPerform other duties as assigned within the scope of RRT practicen
nRequired Essential Skills:n
