Reporting to the
Front Office Manager
you will play an important role in ensuring Front Office operations run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining CLLIX service standards.
About the Role n
As Front Office Supervisor, you will:
n
n
Supervise and support the daily operations of the Front Office and team members during your shift.
n
Deliver professional, friendly and efficient service across guest arrivals, departures,
enquiries and special requests.
n
Lead by example and support the team in delivering a consistently high standard of customer service.
n
Handle guest enquiries, requests and complaints professionally and effectively.
n
Support Front Desk, reception, cashiering, reservations and other Front Office functions.
n
Assist with the preparation of rosters to support appropriate operational coverage.
n
Control duty keys and floats and ensure established cash, credit, accounting and banking procedures are followed.
n
Assist with the induction, training, coaching and ongoing development of Front Office team members.
n
Conduct team briefings and ensure important operational and property information is communicated effectively.
n
Support the implementation and ongoing understanding of departmental policies, procedures and service standards.
n
Maintain professional presentation and service standards across the Front Office team.
n
Identify training or performance matters requiring further support and escalate these appropriately to Front Office Management.
n
Assist with maintaining a safe, organised and professional working environment.
n
Attend operational briefings, meetings and training as required.
n
Complete other reasonable Front Office duties as directed by management.
n
n
The position also has a solid focus on coaching and developing team members, maintaining service standards and creating a positive and inclusive working environment.

Skills And Experiences

Desired Skills & Experience
n
We are looking for someone who brings:
n
n
Previous experience in a
Front Office Supervisor, Senior Guest Service Agent or similar Front Office position
within hotels, serviced apartments or accommodation.
n
Strong knowledge of Front Office operations, including reception, reservations, cashiering and guest services.
n
Previous experience supervising, coaching or providing day-to-day guidance to team members.
n
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
n
Confidence in handling guest complaints and resolving operational issues professionally.
n
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues and management.
n
Good organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
n
Sound attention to detail when handling cash, banking, guest accounts and confidential information.
n
A positive, hands-on leadership style and willingness to support the team during busy periods.
n
Ability to remain calm and professional when managing challenging situations.
n
A strong understanding of workplace health and safety and the importance of following established policies and procedures.
n
Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays, according to operational requirements.
