Payroll Manager
to join our dynamic team in our office located in
Rivervale, Perth
.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end weekly payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely pay runs.
Review and validate timesheets, hours and payroll adjustments.
Interpret and apply relevant awards and EBAs.
Process leave, deductions, salary sacrifice, back pay, incentives and other adjustments.
Manage payroll-related statutory obligations including
superannuation, PAYG, payroll tax and PLSL
.
Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee pay queries.
Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records.
Manage workers' compensation payments and reimbursements.
Identify and implement improvements to payroll systems, processes and controls.
Lead and develop the Payroll Officer and support the wider Finance team as required.
About You:

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:




Significant experience in a
Payroll Manager or senior payroll role
, preferably within mining or mining services.
Strong experience managing
high-volume payroll
across multiple awards, EBAs and classifications.
Experience leading and developing people.
Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
Excellent attention to detail, organisation and time management.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive approach to process improvement and problem-solving.
The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and growing business.
Experience with
AI, automation and payroll technology
.
MYOB Acumatica experience is desirable.
A Finance, Economics or related degree is desirable.
