Resthaven Craigmore Residential Services
is currently looking for an
Assistant Cook
to join their hospitality team in a permanent part time capacity.
n Resthaven offers you regular, daytime working hours, giving you a healthy work life balance and job continuity. You will assist our residents by preparing nourishing meals in consultation with individual care plans and taking into consideration special dietary needs.

Exercise your culinary prowess using quality fresh ingredients to create appealing menus for residents, with colour and texture appropriate for a diverse clientele. You will get to know your diners and their preferences, and take pride in contributing to their enjoyment of everyday life.

Essential Criteria
n
n




Experience in providing food handling and preparation services
n
Knowledge of food safety legislation
n
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
n
Friendly, patient demeanor when interacting with residents
n
n
Desirable
n
n
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
n
Experience with HACCP implementation and review
n
Experience in kitchen services within an aged care setting
n
n
